about the butterfly

The monarch butterfly is the only type of butterfly to participate in a bird-like two-way migration, spending winters in Mexico and summers in the United States. For generations, the monarch butterfly has served as a symbol of fluid and peaceful migration from one place to another. It Represents the dignity and resilience of the many brave migrants who have passed into the United States and the fundamental right possessed by all living beings to move about freely.
